Louisville basketball was caught paying prostitutes to sleep with recruits among other things. They just had to vacate wins and pay fines. They didn't even have to fire Pitino, he was set to be suspended before they decided to fire him. I doubt the NCAA does much considering UT is cleaning house.

Hire the right guy (Herman or Freeze) and give them time. Forget next year. It’s going to be a disaster. Maybe the next year, too. But it will let them build relationships with boosters, coaches, and recruits.

Be transparent. This is about to suck. But pay someone who has won, and let them come in and fix it. Nothing will be over night. Herman went 32-18 at Texas. 8 wins a year. I’d bet a lot of us would take that considering where we are today.

I may be way off, and some may disagree, but JMO. I also want an offensive-mindset HC. Gumps-UF was 52-46. Gone are the days of consistently winning 17-13, 21-17 games. Especially at the championship level.

that’s not how it works. This was coming regardless if we went 3-7, 10-0, or 5-5. If you don’t get in front of this and try to self police that’s when you get SMUd and really taken to the shed by the NCAA. That’s what you don’t want.

Hate it for guys like Felton and Neids who look for the chance in this profession and have to do the dirty work of the head coach but then when things happen the HC financially will still be ok with amount of money he has made in career but the other two likely are never seen again and find a new profession. Pruitt can always go to NFL

Niedermeyer went from making 50-60k to making 300k in just a few years.He made his bed. If he was more valued for his on field coaching, he wouldn't have been in that position in the first place. Also, Shelton left and came BACK to UT. The guy knew what was up. That's why we didn't interview for that slot.
