Plowman is very, very impressive.

Because she initiated an investigation to run off a coach that had rubbed people the wrong way? Just fire him for performance. She just set us back 3-5 years.

Transfer rule for a program with sanctions and coaching turnover is as bad as the death penalty.

And if the mass exodus happens, how do you rebuild the roster with a 25 player cap?

Lol the NCAA doesn’t give the death penalty anymore.

Literally have bball coaches on tape talking about paying kids and they’re still employed. And within this conference. And at programs who aren’t bball powerhouses.
The difference is how you deal with the NCAA.... other schools buck up and tell them to suck it..... we investigate ourselves.... give them all our findings..... and then beg for mercy.

The response from the players is interesting. Guys were practically celebrating when Dooley and Butch were canned. Most of them seem pissed about this one, though.
Some of them are probably worried about their paychecks getting stopped. Sounds an awful lot like we may have just learned the hard way exactly how Saban and Kirby have been stacking recruits. Hopefully when the heat dies down we can use that info to out benefit but this is what happens when a guy who doesn’t know what asparagus is tries to cheat like Alabama while not being at Alabama.

Why would he come here when he can be the Gumps OC and get a top-10 job after 2-3 years with the best players? Not saying you're wrong, just seen his name a bit and can't understand it.

That's true, but I think it's an ego thing as well. Was a head coach for nearly a decade. I think his comfort zone right now is head coach. And UT would give him a lot of support to stabilize things with his PSU track record.

The NCAA possibilities are significant, but what many aren't considering is the damage done to our standing in the coaching communities and circles. This investigation will be perceived to have come from the inside, this will hurt or changes with top tier coaches. Couple that with a program likely saddled with scholly restrictions and bowl bans and all this further exposes the toxic nature of this program.

I have zero faith this gets better. This is same old incompetence. All we've done is saved buyout money at the further expense of our reputation which is rapidly approaching meth-whore status.
