So what's the general feeling amongst player's tweets? Just down or down and out?

Not good. This one will sting and we'll have more defections and anger than we did last time we fired a coach. The players loved Pruitt.

On one hand, I understand their frustration. But for guys tweeting "WHY", you'd think they have to be smart enough to understand WHY, violations aside. Why? Because of how you guys looked on the field this year.

Recruiting might be killed anyway if we get sanctions. No need to rush this and end up with another Dooley. I am all for them getting this right.

We are going to hire another mistake. Grit your teeth and get ready for it. I hope like hell they prove me wrong but this looks like it was all inside baseball (a fight for internal control and power) rather than about restoring our program to its premier status in college football. I will believe the FU money matters when it does something for the program instead of for themselves.

I can't believe that this not apparent to most people. I hope we're wrong..I REALLY REALLY hope we're wrong...but my mind and my instincts are screaming to me that we are royally ******.
