Not a grand slam hire but certainly not the worst hire we could make.

As long as he stops kissing players on their necks, then I say give him a chance.
You have griped non stop about Pruitt and you're gonna be okay with burning this thing down for.....wait for it......Tom freaking Herman. What a letdown.

You literally have no idea what you are talking about. Fulmer was a cancer for the program as an AD and remember i told you NOT ONE decent coach would entertain working for TN if fulmer was there...his reputation had gotten out and while I won’t comment on the infractions he made...he was single handed going to get our program into trouble regardless of what Nieds or Jeremy did. HE HAD TO GO.
You're telling a guy who has given 30+ years to a University is a cancer? Firing him in the first place was what got us in this mess. We just set ourselves back 10 more years.

This whole Prince versus Pauper act works well. Agree many of us on a FREE board don't
have the inner workings of VASF. But, Knoxville is a small town. Fulmer is very popular with what few donors that I know. (who usually work for guys like you, lol).

With that said, I trust no one up there any more. It's been over a decade of **** show. Fulmer brought continuity, if worst thing a former coach did was, try to do what he loved then...so be it.

Cheating is another thing. And while I dont like it. Im well aware todays athletes feel entitled to it. and do deserve compensation.

You can keep posting that. But its still not me. Lol

Tom Herman
Herman did not live up to the billing at Texas but he could be the ideal coach for Tennessee, if they are looking for an offensive mind that has had success at various stops and knows how to recruit effectively. He has interest in the job from what I have just been told.

This is likely not the only coaching search hot board we will release over the coming days, unless Tennessee moves swiftly.

Man, they mention Kiffin, Herman & Freeze all having interest in this job too... If that's the top 3 I don't think the fans would be disappointed with any of them :O
I’d take any of them. Chadwell is interesting too

Lol that was funny. Can you just be honest and put us out of our misery in regards to freeze? Is there a chance he will be seriously looked at or is there no chance he will he a candidate?
This, this is the only question I’m desperate to know. History tells me no, but my stubbornness in learning from TN past is keeping me on edge.

By the way @Bassmaster_Vol if it makes you feel any better... Zero chance Steele is the next coach. Zero. Not gonna happen.

I still hope he will be on the next staff, but I will take all bets at all odds that he is not the HC next season now that Fulmer is gone.

I think Fulmer being out significantly hampers the idea of bringing in Marrone as well.

Well said Sir. Who would be on your short list personally?

For me 1. Campbell (dreaming)

2. Ferentz
3. Herman
4. Mark Stoops (yes I know and yes that stoops) the man is a good coach, and he has built KY into something they have never been. And he’s a quality human being.
5. Fleck

Then you have Marrone, Freeze, Napier, Chadwell.

I want a quality head coach that can build and sustain a big program.
