That’s all this was, was a project or experiment. They thought CF could groom and guide Pruitt and it was a Utter failure.

This happening today should come as no surprise. The “confusion” over the last few weeks stemmed from having to juggle an ongoing investigation and trying to salvage the remaining class of players. Now that we’ve gotten the internal investigation behind us and have everyone back on campus, they pulled the plug. It has not been picture perfect, but it has the fingerprints of wisdom all over it. I think Boyd, Plowman and Fulmer have been ahead of the curve more than they’ve been credited with.

If what is being said is true I have no reason to believe differently ( a group has been in contact with coaches to gage interest), I suspect an AD has already been identified and has been somewhat involved already.

Additionally, I don’t think this coaching search will last long. Seems like things are pretty far down the tracks.
