Agree with you 100000000%

Be honest here....you don't have to name names because I know you wouldn't but did those talks for weeks behind the stage even move past the hi stage? I think it's gonna take a lot of FU money just to get paperwork started. Tell me I'm wrong.

Pruitt needed to go. And while optics are bad about how it was handled. We shouldnt be removing AD Fulmer. It makes me seriously question any and all positions of leadership at that University. It's a disgrace.

Now we've set ourselves back much more so.
You literally have no idea what you are talking about. Fulmer was a cancer for the program as an AD and remember i told you NOT ONE decent coach would entertain working for TN if fulmer was there...his reputation had gotten out and while I won’t comment on the infractions he made...he was single handed going to get our program into trouble regardless of what Nieds or Jeremy did. HE HAD TO GO.

Hyams initial list: Steele, Chadwell, Napier
So we’ve done nothing but make the Haslams happy. Another mediocre coach who will be fired a year or two after he should’ve been incoming, Sigh.

OM hired Kiffin of all people while in sanctions and Auburn hired Pearl but oh no we can’t hire Freeze because...well because. The bullish is about to get thick.

In my opinion, this is the most important hire UT will make.

We are one notch from becoming Vandy (no pun intended).

If we screw this one up, UT will become a doormat for the SEC for years to come.

We, absolutely CANNOT screw this up.

Go get who you want make them SAY NO!!! Quit screwing around with Projects and Coordinators.

That’s all this was, was a project or experiment. They thought CF could groom and guide Pruitt and it was a Utter failure.

Udder*

What made UCLA so special. I could easily see IU making a run at him. Depending on the AD they could easily want all of their guys in place.

Are you trolling? You're trolling right?

UCLA (thanks to John Wooden) is and always will be considered a "mecca" of college basketball man. I mean I'd say Barnes has a soft spot for UNC too, but I feel like him being such a student/historian of the game UCLA was the #1 spot. He grew up in the Wooden era watching UCLA and was in college playing as Wooden retired.

I'm not saying Indiana isn't a top tier job, it is. But based on what Barnes himself has said in interviews seems like the only job he'd seriously consider leaving TN for was UCLA, and they came for him with the full bag. I doubt that "perfect storm" will happen again and expect he'll retire here.

Now that he’s gone 👀😅 do you care to give us some examples/Details on just how bad he was as far as being involved?...I’m really curious.

That's interesting. I remember talking with someone who was really, really high up in the UT admin, and he told me he had to repeatedly have "we can't do that Phillip, and we can't let you do that" conversations. Wonder if those became much more frequent and Plowman got tired of it as well.
