I swear I'm too old for it now but this makes we want one of those old school brawls from my late teens or twenties. I miss being a bouncer and being able to blow off steam nightly.

Set the time machine to December 7th 2001. The late hit on Rohan Davey breaking his ribs is the defining moment when his mother put the curse on our program.

The initial reaction from his mother speaking in some sort of tongue has me convinced if we can just make it right with her this all gets better.

I’m serious, since that exact moment, Tennessee Football has never been right again.

Exactly the one. From what I gather, after talking with an employee, the case was sent with it just to protect it. I got it for 379. Originally was 749.00. I did some research and found it for 649 on fanatics plus shipping. I think 349 was decent definitely won’t be going anywhere for the price. Has the COA too.

I mean, are Boyd and Plowman oblivious to the harm of dragging this out? Do they not understand that the longer it goes, the more it hurts the program? The players want and deserve to have answers as to who their coach will be. Anyone considering coming here wants to know who the coach will be. I understand the need for an investigation, but this investigation should have been fast-tracked given what's at stake. The indecision and ineptness are killing us. This needs to be over and done with and a decision made so the program can move on.

Would be worried about his ability to recruit young kids, plus his understanding of recruiting rules. Not saying he couldn't do it, but do we really want another "learning on the job" experiment?

I don't think they want to fire him because we don't have anyone on the line yet (no one can agree on who). And really what is the point of firing Bama Germy only to hire Rutgers Germy? The whole point of firing him now was because UT had a legit chance to connect on a hail mary rivaling Dobbs' game winner to JJ that would've allowed us to resurrect our program in an instant despite being dead and without hope for most of the past decade and a half. But the donors poo poo'd that on the grounds of us having no money when in reality they simply do not care about football as much as they care about their places.

Trey Wallace boned those of us who actually want a decent hire made when he reported on the internal investigation because that instantly took Freeze and others off the table for some donors (or at least made them harder to reach) while simultaneously giving those chicken ish boosters cover to hire their original choice: Rutgers Germy. Stretching it out is probably an attempt to avoid firing because we really shouldn't let our emotions get the better of us --coach mcgoogle is not acceptable at this point. We need to either tough it out another year and go after Freeze (or another big name) when we're more prepared or fire and have someone legit (Freeze, Herman etc) already signed and sealed the day we announce the firing.
