You have got to be kidding me. Literally AV just confirmed Fulmer has destroyed this program.

My agenda is I want to win...I want the smartest, most talented person at the top. It has been said many times on this board that the good head coaches are the smartest, most talented person in the room. Examples of this are Saban, Spurrier, Meyer...even though they had great coaches under them who come and go at the end of the day they are the smartest, most talented in the room. Also greatness is able to spot other greatness.

Do you honestly mean to tell me you think Fulmer was smarter, more talented than Cutcliffe? Fulmer is a politician...he is actually really good at that. Now if you want him to make an intelligent decision or ask him to recognize excellence you get Randy Sanders, Dave Clawson, Jim Chainey, 3 DC’s as your head coach finalist.

I just respect what he did as coach. We won a lot of games and the 90s were a lot of fun to follow Tennessee. He has clearly **** the bed this time.

Here seems to be a big problem imo. Until this whole investigation is wrapped up and punishments handed down, I don’t see how any coach is going to come here.

Does anyone know what’s gonna be handed down? It could be scholarship reductions, post season bans, vacated wins, probation. So I see no way that any HC is gonna walk into a situation where they have no idea what they are getting into.

I do think regardless of what happens, we are likely set back 4-5 years because of this.

We fired Donnie Tyndall for cause and zero buyout. Then, Hart made sure Tyndall received a 10 year show cause as a parting gift.

Coaches will come here because they know if they get it right, they can win big.

I have a feeling Freak’s servers are going to be taking a substantial hit the next few days from all the traffic that is gonna be on here. I find myself checking in every little bit to see the latest developments. I’m afraid there will be several more good players and recruits leave, and my only hope is If a coaching change is made they will somehow shock us and make a good hire. We just need some kind of stability either way.
