I stand by the prior post. It is delusional and a waste of brain resources to spend 1second thinking either Freeze or Kiffin will be the HC @ UT. Just trying to help you out there fellow Vol fan.

I'm not saying you're wrong, you're completely right (right now thinking of Tennessee football in general is a waste of brain resources so you're dead on there too). It's just the fleeting thought of hiring Freeze and becoming relevant is more pleasant than hiring a no name coach to do this again in 2-4 years.

We don’t have to hire a no name coach. There are good candidates out there if they want to coach at UT.

Chadwell may be the perfect hire now. Roster will be depleted with NCAA sanctions so no pressure to win, that allows him to learn how to be a HC at a major school and by the time our sanctions are up he’s ready to roll. Also he may be the only quality coach to take the job (still don’t think Freeze will be considered).

How many coaches do we need to hire that have to learn on the job?

Pruitt had that support when he was winning, the investigation didn't show up last year did it? It would've been swept under the rug if he did decently this year. Once Pruitt wasn't winning his attitude and actions caught up with him. This once again all circles back to Pruitt treating people like ****

What do you think it will look like to other coaches who can either come here or go somewhere next year..... we have rarely been coaches first choice for this very reason.
