Like I have said-- countless times-- UT can source the money. And if UT wants to do that, it will. There are multiple ways to source money, and UT has numerous buckets. Randy Boyd can access them all. Of course, UT will never go under. It has both public funding and private endowments..
Then what in the world are we waiting for! Fire Pruitt and make a grand slam proven hire, then win lots of games and reap all of the benefits. Seems pretty simple to me. Makes me wonder why in the world have we been so cheap the last 4 hires???!!!

what kind of wood are you using? I play too and the thought of building my own guitar would be awesome!

And I also say whatever wood is accessible and workable for you. I know people argue "tonewood" and there's some legitimacy. But to me, the pickups are the bigger factor. Out of the all the guitars I've accumulated so far, a $400 Schecter (basswood body) with active pickups, is my favorite to play.

Ok guys if a change is made I want to pick everybody's brain about what type of person we need at UT. I know we all want HC experience preferably at the P5 level but here's the thing pretty much all schools have money now so to grab a standing successful HC it's going to be more about what power and authority we are going to give. But I've kinda changed my thinking on what I think we need.

First off I think whoever we bring in needs to be a very good people person with all the duties outside of football that the HC at UT has to deal with from administration to boosters, community appearances and so on we need someone who can build and maintain great relationships with staff and everyone around the program.

But my biggest change of mind came from hearing Saban post LSU. He made a comment about losing to LSU last year and how LSU thought they could come in and have success against Bama and how he had to fix that. I honestly think Saban success all bulls down to one thing. Alabama became personal to him. Every success every misstep he takes personally. I really think that's what UT needs is someone that UT would become personal for, not a resume builder, not some dude trying to prove he can be successful like his daddy, someone that takes every win, every loss , every misstep to heart. Someone that lives and breathes this University.

Requirements
-Experience as a P5 HC
-Winning record (adjusted if a significant rebuild was involved)
-Giant-killer (track record of winning games against more talented opponents)

Bonus Points
-NFL experience
-Offensive guy, specifically a great track record for developing QB’s
-Recruiting ties to the Southeast

A lot to be said for that. I was reading about Napier and found and a quote from Dabo after he fired Napier. I don’t like Dabo but it was along the same thought process as Saban.

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said following Friday's loss to South Florida he would "do everything and anything" in his power to make sure another losing season did not occur during his tenure

"This was a difficult decision, one that was not made hastily," said Swinney in a statement Sunday evening. "But we must make significant improvement on the offensive side of the ball. I have to do what I believe is best for the program going forward, and make sure we don't experience another season like the one we just had."

😅
Uncomfortable truth - my morbid curiosity had me inspecting the inside of my leg for the wrong reasons, haha.
You should've started a thread in the FF. You would've got free medical advice, instructions on how to cut yourself at a less severe angle, and tips on how to avoid doing that again in the future. They're a surly bunch, but they mean well.

*I would've liked to have seen a pic of the tool you did that with BEFORE I opened the SPOILER. My imagination would have stopped right before I got sick at my stomach. Well done my man.

So I've always shared personal stuff for advisory purposes. Anyone wondering about kickback on the chainsaw blades for angle grinders..well, this is at UT and supposed to be my thigh.

*Don't open if squeamish*
GRAPHIC.
