Actually saw that happen first hand to one of my buddies. Wasn’t that bad, but happened on his neck. Dude was lucky!!So I've always shared personal stuff for advisory purposes. Anyone wondering about kickback on the chainsaw blades for angle grinders..well, this is at UT and supposed to be my thigh.
*Don't open if squeamish*
GRAPHIC.
yes, there is kickback

You have been all over the place the last couple of days claiming UT doesn’t have the money to fire Pruitt.
If the AD/University doesn’t have any money, why does it have money to replace Pruitt’s assistants but not him? Why does it have money to upgrade stadium experience but not the product on the field?
You make these claims as “facts” then don’t want to defend them when they are inconsistent and don’t match up to what is actually happening.
Boom! Love stating facts. Clear and concise. Bravo.UT can source the money it needs to do what it wants to do.
If UT wants to fire and replace any coaches-- including the HC-- it will source the money to fire and replace any coaches-- including the HC.
If UT doesn't want to fire and replace any coaches--including the HC-- it will not fire and replace any coaches-- including the HC.
So far, UT has not wanted to fire and replace any coaches, except Brumbaugh.
Hence, to date, UT's current staff remains in place.
TV deal money is payable in 2024, possibly 2023.
People want to fire and hire new staff-- including the HC-- in 2020.
There is 3-4 years difference between 2023-2024 and 2020.
Money payable in 3-4 years-- used for whatever purpose-- does not preclude UT from funding what it wants to do now.
Which so far has not been firing and hiring new assistants and a new HC.
That could change. Quickly.
If and when it does, the money to do what UT wants to do will be sourced by UT President Randy Boyd, who has the authority and the wherewithal to do so.

Fire Pruitt and in three years bitch and burn another guy...rinse and repeat. We'll end up waiting a year too long...again.
Pruitt will win 5 with his revamped staff.
We "won't have the money because of the assistants buyouts".
Recruiting will be subpar....again.
We'll be " afraid" to move on because of recruiting....again.
Same conversations taking place today will be taking place in a year with a few different names.
Rinse & repeat.
Sounds like Fulmer is only in an advisory role here. Do you think he survives this? I realize the circumstances that made his job of hiring a coach made it difficult but it was his hire. I've always maintained that his future would go by the way of Pruitt's.UT can source the money it needs to do what it wants to do.
