All this Freeze talk is great but unfortunately I don't our admin will get rid of JP even if we finish at 3 wins. It seems there is drama in the locker room and pointing fingers with the coaches. We seen the same With our last coach, and held onto him too long after these signs came up.
Just make the obvious choice, pay the buyout then pay Hugh and get our program back.

HB did look poised what else was he going to do? Throw an interception and get blamed for that as well? Because a coaching staff screwed him? His WRs couldn’t even get open.

The coaching staff made them run the same pass play over and over again. If they really wanted a different outcome they would of changed it. They didn’t.

Take your BS blame somewhere else. Wasn’t on the QB was on the coaches.

Yeah everyone hating on Bailey and forgetting that his first throw..... I repeat his first throw of the game....... was on 4th and 4 where he made the correct read and the only way to stop the pass was for the defender to commit pass interference and then the pass interference wasn’t called.

If that PI got called, we are on the 1 yard line and we score a TD right there. Then our defense gets that stop and all what have to do is either get another TD with way more time on the clock or possibly a field goal to tie if we got a two point conversion. Lol

Hasn’t it been said on here that due to the cornteen HB has been in he doesn’t know the playbook too well?! Don’t know if I buy that? What did the kids do all that time, play Xbox?

He did Throw 2 picks and you haven’t seen me criticize that at all and I won’t. I think you have to force balls on 4th down and throwing a pick isn’t an issue at all on those downs


I also know when you are down 2 scores you have to take risk to score quickly and if a QB throws a pick in such a situation that’s all fine and expected. So yea if he’d thrown second pick sooner it would have been warranted.

I just don’t know. Those receivers weren’t open. It’s different if you force a ball to a receiver who is slightly open but still covered. Our guys weren’t open at all. He had to go to the check down throw and hope that Eric Gray broke a tackle and got more yards. I realize it is on Bailey at that point but the coaches were literally sending 4 verts. There was no creativity to get anyone open.

All of this goes back to Pruitt putting HB in sooner!...he should have never been sent out there in a situation like that!...if anything you put him in with plenty of time to be able to make something happen.

He took Ole Miss to 7-6 Y1 when they were 2-10 the year before. It is like he outschemes and coaches players up. A radical idea at UT these days, it seems. Recruiting is obviously critical at some point, but I bet he could win here and let the winning do the recruiting more and more for him. He could/probably would get recruiters as position coaches as well.

It’s amazing to me that people who are supposed to be so smart can’t see the simple numbers. It’s amazing to me that they can’t see this same exact situation has already been seen on the Hill with the last 2 coaches, yet we have learned nothing from it and will keep the 3rd one a year too long. My only thing that makes me think I understand why is what @Atlanta VOL said...if everyone isn’t rowing in the same direction, it doesn’t matter who is our coach. I really think the power boosters who have been overpowered are sabotaging the program somehow in a negative fashion, in order to regain power. It’s amazing we can’t all join together for the good of the program to make Tennessee great again. As Paul said in 1 Tim 6:10, “For the love of money is the root of all evil...”. So so true. Power, because of the money and love of it, fits right in with that.

I am not getting all hyped up about looking for a new HC cause we got CP for another year. What we been talking about today firing CP and hiring HF just doesn't happen like that at UT. We wait until all the good ones get hired by other schools and then we settle for whatever we can find and roll the dice and hope it works out. Which hasn't worked for the last 4 HC's.

Bought two hot wheels track packs for the kids ($20/per). They arrived today (ordered them yesterday). Best purchase ever. Great time tonight with my wife and the kids building tracks and shooting slo-mo videos of the cars running down them. We’re all talking about the week ahead and the tracks we’ll build. If you have kids (or if you’re like me and enjoy acting like a kid), buy some tracks and have a blast.
