I think Pruitt eventually gets this defense right. But I don't think he will ever have better than a mediocre offense. He's so lost on that side of the ball, nothing he does makes sense. We've gotten 0 from QB, 0 from TE, 0 from anyone not named Palmer at WR, and very little from the OL. At least Gray is running hard when he doesn't fall over from a shoestring tackle.

We are so ****ed. Pruitt is stupid to keep playing JG. This is a practice season ffs. Play anyone else.

I agree. At this point just play Bailey and take the lumps because there will be a few. Bailey didn't get the spring and summer to practice and due to Plowmans SH!T testing up there and half of the team missed 2 weeks or more of a 4 week fall practice. After the Missouri game, I was a little more optimistic than I thought I would be, but now just throw the young guys out and let them learn.

The o line didn't look "terrible" saturday, but QB and receiver play could be average and you would beat KY. I know everyone likes Tee, but these guys aren't getting ANY separation. Most of the catches they have made have been solely on talent alone, not because they bullied some corners. Friend could be better, but dont see him on the block just yet. Weinke on the other hand should have been gone at the end of last year, at the very least. I honestly think the game has passed Chaney by unless he has ELITE talent. He should know our Qb's strengths by now and play to what little we can do well. Maybe his hands are tied, but its frustrating to see Pittman, Dorkowitz and Kiffin have better offenses than we do when they didnt get a spring or summer with completely new systems. Starts at the top.

Oh well, at least we have Barnes and the boys!!

Looks like JP gonna lose his job for the sake of starting a trash qb who gets an unheard of 6th year of eligibility. Fires a Dline coach who's unit was playing well but starts a qb who has more turnovers than TDs the past 2 games.

I think we are looking for a new coach after next season, stay positive pumpers but your coach isn't making the right decisions to keep his job.
The D line wasn't playing well. We were getting no pressure on the QB and did you watch the second half of the UK game? They were getting pushed around like they weren't even on the field.

Doesn't matter who he starts..we are getting destroyed..

Bailey obviously isn't ready because they thought JG could be solid enough..if anything this shows extreme arrogance or faith (you decide which) in their coaching ability.

Maurer has mental illness, which is kind of hard to predict if the kid nor his family are honest about in recruiting...

Shrout was just a try and find somebody...that's all they had time for in that class thanks to the shitshowcircus coaching search..

Bailey is a legitimate prospect with almost no real college practice thanks to Covid...I can understand why they didn't give him more of what little practice reps they had this offseason..since they really believed they could get just solid play from JG.

When you break things down like that, it adds valuable context.

You and I have no idea what happened with Brumbaugh, but speculation is what VN likes to do.

We were here last year, and it got fixed. Let's see if they can do it again.

Makes too much sense.

I’m pretty sure that is a knock on Jimmy, coach.

This pretty much confirms my suspicions last night, Brum was the sacrificial lamb. There were two other coaches possibly even a third on his staff that are much more deserving of getting walking papers. I don't respect this decision at all.

This is the second time Pruitt has hired someone he immediately dislikes. Why?

I mean, it’s one thing to hire someone you don’t like because you think they will get results. But what’s the point if you end up firing them within a year because you don’t get along with them?

JG must be that QB ya gotta feed just positivity or he really falls apart.

All 3 INTs were on the QBs. The first pick the center snapped it late, but that throw was still behind and late. The deep ball was behind and late and in triple coverage. JT threw behind as well.

I have to assume that JP is repeating what Chaney/Weinke are telling him to say. No way he watches the tape and doesn’t see this.

That's a lot of money to blow up a pig butt because you can't get along with someone.
