Recruiting Forum Football Talk II

It is so awesome to see football on TV. If someone would have said we would have football in August, much less high school, I would have laughed. We are slowly getting back to normal in the South. I guess that’s because we are dumb as Max Kellerman said.
Its been great and from what ive watched, not much political BS thrown in.

You can find a million stories of the different strains of Flu killing young people at a higher clip also.

I caught the Swine Flu back in late November 2010 at 42 and it just about killed me...there were several cases of it just in our little church that really messed people up.
Is that H1N1? I remember a dozen strains referred to as swine flu. That is the medium for most flu strains. I remember one coworker who caught H1N1 right after he had recuperated from another strain. Very nearly killed him.

I remember a good number of people really wanting him to be our next HC after Dooley. Still think Texas boosters played a huge part of why he was unsuccessful there, but his record didn't help at all.
I was included in those numbers. Nothing to hate about what he did at Louisville and I saw recruiting going nowhere but up. Texas ruined him and I did predict he’d fail there. It’s more than coaching in Austin.

I know people took what Pruitt said about Bailey the other day as coach speak. However, he did not talk about Maurer and Shrout like that last year. I’m not saying HB is going to start but he sounds more complete then a normal Freshman QB.

Imagine if he had those spring practices.

Same. I really wanted him as our next HC as well. Interested to see what he does after a stint at Alabama. DC or HC again. Definitely worth a DC look, still.

IMO, best case scenario is HB is redshirted. Or "redshirted" because this year's eligibility isnt going to cost him anything. I want him in the playbook and studying.

Anyone know what kind of tests the players are taking? There’s an article in The NY Times today talking about how many false positives the PCR test produces. It often detects dead virus (the person could’ve had COVID months ago) meaning the person is no longer contagious. This is the test I’ve heard mentioned the most and it’s pretty dumb to base policy decisions from case numbers when the tests are this sensitive. I really hope this isn’t what was used to cancel practice yesterday.

It's for all you hearing impaired morans.
Umm, don't you have somewhere to be??? Get off Volnation, and go escort your daughter down the aisle to give her away to her soon to be husband! Then, bring your moran butt back on here and let us know how things went.

That is interesting. Duncanville, Desoto, and Cedar Hill are all next to each other and suburbs of Dallas. 4 teams in top 14. Then Arlington isn’t far, and Denton, Frisco, Southlake, and Flower Mound are also in the DFW area.

Harrison has probably had the playbook since he signed his NLI. He is having to get acclimated to the speed and different concepts of the offense. Nothing better than reps to get better with those areas. Since this year doesn’t count towards any eligibility I would get him as many SEC game reps as we can afford to. Especially if he is going to be the future.
