I know people took what Pruitt said about Bailey the other day as coach speak. However, he did not talk about Maurer and Shrout like that last year. I’m not saying HB is going to start but he sounds more complete then a normal Freshman QB.

Yes, I’m familiar with the rankings.

I’d also say that most people here would not think of Parish or Trinity Christian as the same kind of football as Duncanville, Guyer, Ryan, etc.

Until recently, they both competed in the parochial school league (TAPPS), rather than UIL. I say “until recently” because, after their most recent TAPPS state championship in Dec 2019, Trinity Christian was kicked out of the parochial school league.

Another unfortunate misunderstanding is that many people believe it’s random or totally dependent on genetics. There are some very practical steps you can take to boost your immunity. Our government had an opportunity to communicate these steps at a time when many people would have been motivated enough to make drastic changes to their lifestyle and instead we told people to put cloth over their faces. An action with no scientific evidence to support it.

Bingo...I saw those first reports and the obvious links to immune system deficiencies in sooo many of the deaths, and went immediately and got a years worth of the best supplements I could find.

For those who only think it kills old people, my neighbor was in ICU for almost two weeks with the virus. He's in his 30's and he told me he thought he was going to die. He said it was the worst thing that has ever happened to him. He kicked it but it's gonna be a long time before he's back to normal.

You can find a million stories of the different strains of Flu killing young people at a higher clip also.

I caught the Swine Flu back in late November 2010 at 42 and it just about killed me...there were several cases of it just in our little church that really messed people up.

I don’t follow Knox Catholic closely but it seems like they’re replacing a lot in the trenches, losing D1 guys like Mays, Baron, Tucker, etc

It is so awesome to see football on TV. If someone would have said we would have football in August, much less high school, I would have laughed. We are slowly getting back to normal in the South. I guess that’s because we are dumb as Max Kellerman said.
