They actually never could block them, at least not in recent history. They could fail to "release" them and that prohibited them from being on scholarship the first year. You probably already know this, though.
What’s recent history? Up until the rule change, Brandon Kennedy was a no go...cuz Saban. If they didn’t have a release, they’d lose a year of eligibility because it was TWO seasons before they would be eligible for grant in aid. It was a block and very effective.

Was that an SEC rule? I do seem to remember a rule about waiting two years if you transferred in conference. And, I agree. Two years is pretty much a block.

Just dropped about 20 degrees in middle TN after rain pushed through. Here it comes Knoxville. Gonna be a bunch of cold little trick-or-treaters tonight.

We gave the kids the forecast and the choice, they chose semi scary movies and grabbing candy from the store.

Little disappointed tho, my son was going as Ace Ventura and had been practicing the walk etc, for weeks. Had the hair, walk, everything nailed.

Cops can be paid w
cops can be paid without taxes.
Yeah...they’re called security guards. If everyone has to pitch in to hire private police, what’s the difference in that fee and TAXES? And that’s just the tip of basic services local, state and national governments were formed to provide and monitor. I’m a loyal voting Republican and want the government out of my pocket as much as the next. Limit or abolish inheritance (death) tax etc etc but you can’t have free democracy in a nation our size. Maybe try Luxembourg or Singapore.

Saw the same flag on a crane at the Nashville Airport. Was told that it was to alert pilots of construction taken place. Could've been wrong info though
Could be but sure looks like a Tennessee flag.

It’s an Airport Safety Flag.

But they’re perfect. I fly one, and everyone thinks it’s an actual Tennessee Flag

Baker Mayfield got it changed somewhat for walkons...else he wouldn’t have had eligibility for that Heisman season. Brian Kelly blocked a grad transfer QB from Texas because they were on the schedule and even some schools that weren’t. One of Bill Snyder’s last crusty moves described here.
Snyder blocked a player’s transfer list of 35 schools
