They're many good things that happened today with this ball team. I'm sure they come to the board to read so to me this was a team win but I am so happy for Tyler Byrd. Thrilled he is becoming part of the game plan. Happy for Keyton. Warrior finally coming around is great to see and just all those along the defensive front and that offensive line today.
Even happier for the coaches and the fun they shared together in the locker room. I know coach Pruitt can forge a winning team in Tennessee if we give him time. Pruitt has taken a beating on the field, in the press, and on the message boards. I hope posters can see their way to give him a little praise. I can only imagine the pressure it has put on him and his family and the team.
I would like to say that should JG start next week I hope he won't even look like the same player and throws for over 300 yds on Bama and we find some open holes to run through on that defense.
After seeing that locker room excitement today I would think we would all want to lift these kids and coaches up and have a whole lot of patience. Thank you

Today's a good day and we got a very important win, but I'm still not sold on Pruitt. The only SEC teams we've beaten with him have had one dimensional offenses. Gotta win some more.

The Tyson Helton Hilltoppers beat a quality Army team today.

I was there and the game was not as close as the score. WKU gave up the garbage score with 1:00 left in the game. They smothered Army's run like we did against MSU.

Bama is just so talented man. Really all it is. Those receivers and impossonle to guard at this level. They have a QB who can throw an accurate ball. They throw a slant and boom, easy 50 yard td pass

Crazy to me he hasn’t made much of an impact during his career especially after a solid Freshman year. Every time he’s played in garbage time he’s done something positive.

No doubt a great play, but major props to the 2 blocks. That play is nothing without 2 great blocks on the outside. That's tough and we did it.

How could we not be pleased with what we are now seeing out of the O-line? That bunch has great potential going forward.

Best pass blocking display in YEARS. Run blocking has plenty of room to improve, but even that is light years ahead '17/'18 and their FBS-worst Stuff Rate.

Was great to finally see his wheels today! He needs to do like dobbs used to and keep his wheels vertical. He hasn't looked as good horizontal vs defenders, but breaking upfield he looks like an asset.

He’ll do fine, but I’m not sure fine will be enough for that fan base. Winning the East in each of his first two seasons got McElwain dismissed 7 games into year three

Yeah it's not like mcelwain recruited great... They have simply developed their players. Recruiting classes no better than ours. Their OL was supposed to be disastrous, as was Franks, no one knew Trask...they developed all these elements. They aren't going to regress I am sure.

Ok. Time to admit it guys. Florida is borderline elite. As soon as "mehlen" gets his QB and a RB, they along with Georgia will rule the East.

Sucks we were close to getting him. Best coach in SEC East.

From a brother gamer to another: Nah lol. He has the ability to develope a QB and that's it. Last year he rode the coattails of quite a few NFL draft picks, this year he is taking advantage of a horrible SECE. I give him props with Trask. Never saw him doing this well. However, the attrition and debacles he has had with the players on his team as well as how bad his recruiting has been will quickly catch up with him. Give it time. I got my popcorn ready.

He was never targeted in Garbage time. He’s caught about 6 passes in 3 years and had 3 touchdowns. That’s positive. Incredibly, the coaches never put him in any other time. He’s also their top blocking wide receiver. He should also be returning kicks, but they need his blocking. Totally misused at UT.
