I'm sounding like I'm about to out-Eeyore Eeyore, but CPF’s bowl record after 2001:
2002 Lost Peach
2003 Lost Peach
2004 Won Cotton
2005 Sat home
2006 Lost Outback
2007 Won Outback
2008 Sat home

If CJP could (for the sake of the argument) do that starting next year, I bet VN would be calling for someone to take us to the next level.

Note: the 2005 Cotton Bowl rocked!
Fulmer’s 2008 recruiting class also was horrendous. It looked like he was losing his touch in all areas of the game at that point in 2008. We had no idea that the pretty good class he had started for 2009 would stick, that Meyer would leave within a couple of years, or that our replacement would be one and done. Heck, even as USC moved down its list, it seemed Kiffin had no nexus to the search.

Hindsight definitely is 20/20 on this, but the answer is Fulmer over Kiffin, over Dooley, over Butch, and over Pruitt to appease the football gods.

Confession time... gotta clear the air

“Watcha Say?” Was my jam in college and I’m hitting that junk up on Amazon music right now.

The state of Tennessee is better talent wise than it ever has been though. If Fulmer or any coach could truly lock down the state similar to what LSU does, then it wouldn't matter.
IIRC, f---ing mad hatter looks like he is getting a stud out of Nashville. jeez. Gonna play in wheat fields.

It's better than it was when he was here. You still need to grab several from the surrounding states. Especially GA.

i think based on location of UT i don’t see why that would be a problem. Few from GA, Carolinas, Georgia Alabama, Virginia
i would love to tap into that Ohio pipeline

Was that because all the violations from the Reggie Bush era were about to come down and Kiffin ditnt know how bad it was going to be. But everybody else did? Or why?
I dont know that theres was some sort of conspiracy to hide it from him. If they really even could.

Maybe he was so cocky he thought he could power through that? He got there at exactly the wrong moment. And that was somewhat gratifying. Btw, I think now is the right moment, not that I really care about them, except I would hate to see Meyer make the playoffs there. And if he goes there and they don't, I'm expecting them to increase it to 8 so he does anyway..

I think he knew how good of a job that is. And yes, confidence is something hes never been short of.

@Freak Can you fix it so that we can ignore any post that includes a tweet from Ubben? tyia.

Edit: Or replace the quote with 💩
"I saw this on the internet" 💩
"Look, schizogrifter is trying to get back on our good side today." 💩
