Maurer is not lacking confidence and I serious doubt he is fragile. Throw him in the deep end and see if he can swim.
He’s been on my ignore list for a monthAnd just like that, at the post of a comment, @HankHill was ignored by @Bassmaster_Vol
Hes still our best shot. So unless something happens next 2 weeks, yes starts I think. We seem hopeless with the others in. Maurer was freakin 4/11 today for 44 yards. What are the odds JG takes the next offensive snap for UT? Should be 0% but I wouldnt be surprised if he starts. 50/50 prospect it seems.
Also a stretch. They are all highly rated, and several are starters. Of course they’ve beaten out upperclassmen to be in that position. No argument there, but I don’t think the “Pruitt guys” are already contributing more than “Butch guys” as collectives. If the true freshmen are in the same conversation with the seniors, the point is already proven.

Hes right though. Pruitts recruits are playing the best.
4/11 for 44 and about 20 YAC from Brandon Jennings. I hope he can be better. But he hasnt shown anything yet. There is no good option rnSimply?? He isn’t the best option. But I already know you’re about to trot out some useless stat line that helps shore up your argument FOR JG. All anyone needed to see was BM moving the offense down the field to see that he’s a better option for us moving forward.
