Johnny Majors was a UT alum who had just won a national championship. You give him ten years. The two are not analogous.

Also a stretch. They are all highly rated, and several are starters. Of course they’ve beaten out upperclassmen to be in that position. No argument there, but I don’t think the “Pruitt guys” are already contributing more than “Butch guys” as collectives.

That’s part of the larger problem that people are telling y’all.
The guys aren’t getting any better under this coaching staff.
The freshmen playing now are basically playing it by ear. Same as the seniors seem to be.
Who has gotten better under this staff so far? What guys have stepped foot on the field the last two years under Pruitt and made you say, “those guys are getting coached up!! Look at the plays they’re making now. Look at them in the right spots, not being fooled anymore! Look at them making correct reads!!!”

Every player who was decent to good prior to this staff has damn near taken a step back. That’s SCARY

Henry looks really good. Other than that none of his guys aside from gray MAYBE have had any moment where your like damn this dude is a legit stud. i know it’s early but damn. Y’all are acting like anyone who’s not a freshman or sophomore is just chopped liver. It’s asinine.

Simply?? He isn’t the best option. But I already know you’re about to trot out some useless stat line that helps shore up your argument FOR JG. All anyone needed to see was BM moving the offense down the field to see that he’s a better option for us moving forward.

4/11 for 44 and about 20 YAC from Brandon Jennings. I hope he can be better. But he hasnt shown anything yet. There is no good option rn
