Kyle and Shy played well last year tho. Losing gooden destroyed what little chance this line had to be ok. Now we have zero impact players there

Dude won big last year, developed milton, then brought in a freshman this year at qb and just kept going. I like a QB centric HC. Most important position on the field. DCs are apparently a dime a dozen and having a defensive HC hasnt helped our defense.

NEED an OU or UCF offense to give us an advantage. This being like uga or old bama is not giving us an advantage.

It's fair to say with a better QB, he could be used as a red zone threat. But he had 140 yards total last year. He had a good game against GA State and now with 11 yards total his last 3 games. He really hasn't looked that impressive. Rivera looked a lot better.

Re: not starting a freshman against UGA. You lost the opportunity to not do that when you didn’t use the cupcake warmup games to get him up to speed. You’ve got two weeks, get it done.

Maurer is not lacking confidence and I serious doubt he is fragile. Throw him in the deep end and see if he can swim.

I hope we can keep our recruits. But man, you have to show some life to sell recruits. You can't regress from year 1 to year 2. You can't claim to be a DB guru and let every team throw at will against you.
