Wait up guys...looks like there may be some legitness to the story. Apparently Strong has turned down both offers....more and more news is comming in with the same story that Strong has turned us down for a revamped deal at Louisville.

People are getting pissed...sorry mods.

It's a train-wreck at its greatest proportion. Feel like I am experiencing some of the lowest points of UT Football.

I know everyone is mad at Hart, but I'm still not convinced it is all on him. If you read that SI article, it said Cheek was the one who interviewed Strong on Sunday. Wouldn't you think Hart would be the one to interview? And as much as some here will flame me for mentioning Rucker, but he stays pretty neutral when it comes to UT admin decisions. He tweeted earlier "People keep talking about Vols AD Dave Hart. Again ... I say ... why is UT-Knoxville chancellor Jimmy Cheek still there?". Just something to think about.

I've lost all hope, I thought I was depressed when the Gruden smoke had no fire, but if the Strong rejection is true, I doubt I'll follow UT until Fall. I never thought we'd have be in a position to lose a coach to Louisville. Hart should literally be fired if true. He's been given $6M extra a year to play with, and he's having trouble convincing a Louisville coach to coach in the SEC. What a moron, getting played by Gundy.

Skeeter said no coach worth a crap would want to walk into the situation we had, with the athletic/academic issues going on.

Anybody believe him yet?

This is terrible. Worst I've felt about the state of the program in a long time..

Don't know what to say. I have very little confidence we can pull off a hire that is substantially better than Dooley now that Fedora and Strong are out.

Tennessee has some real questions to answer about how it is running this program. This is not the Tennessee I grew up with.

I'm legitmitately out. Can't justify spending so much time on here at this point. The news is just always so negative.
