Whether we like it or not. Alabama is still Alabama for the time being. It's going to take more than one disappointing season for the shine to start to fade. IF DeBoer underachieves again this year, and with his QB situation he might, then I think you will start to see the effect on recruiting. Their talking point on last year was him not having Ryan Grubb. If it goes south this year he doesn't have that excuse.

Y'all keep our new grandson born this week in your thoughts and prayers please. Our son and DIL had to take him to Vanderbilt yesterday evening when he stopped breathing while nursing. Ever since, his oxygen levels have been fluctuating a lot . The little fellow is having a rough start.

DD4me posted this a while back. It hit home because I was having real anxiety over a terrible health scare with my kid. I couldn’t sleep. We’re still working through it but we’re in a much much better place now. It’s such a helpless feeling when kids are involved. I printed this and put it on my fridge…I had it on my computer desktop. I believe in prayer and I’ll pray for your grandson. I’ll also be praying for peace for you and your family, especially your son and daughter-in-law. Peace be with you and with your spirit.

It is inevitable that you will have to endure trials and tribulations, but you are well able to overcome because you belong to the Lord. Take life as it comes, and lean on God for guidance. He will give you strength and direction that will settle your soul. Trust in Christ to bring you to a place of peace and safety.
