Am I allowed to ask the question? Why is our recruiting that far behind ? Beboer hasnt done ****.
You are allowed to ask why a newcomer to the SEC is recruiting better than our staff, who have been here longer. BUT, you will also be called a "nega" and trashed mercilessly by those who believe they decide who the "true fans" are.

Honestly, it just makes me ponder if these other programs are just spending more than we are? This isn't Nick Saban recruiting light's out. This is DeBoer. No way he has "the rizz" to pull these kinds of recruits out of his ass.

if huepel et al were routinely winning battles i wouldn't complain. You can point to three or four position groups and almost routinely say
'we are going to lose that battle.' Recruiting in 26, has been slightly above average. Too many projects.

But hey, we were in it with Georgia, OSU, and Texas! We just lose waay too many four and five star recruit battles. Slightly above average dont cut it.

I will add that hiter or keys will go a long damn way.

We really need to flip Keys and sign Hiter.

Kalen DeBoer is recruiting like Nick Saban this cycle. Got their 5th 5* commit today.
I heard a recruiting expert say that there are only 32 5stars every year.
One 5star for every NFL team.
He said a 5star is considered to be someone who could immediately start or make a major impact in the NFL.
If Bama already has 5 of 32 that is both amazing and frightening.

The same reason Kiffin recruited so well his first class. Imagine if fulmer didn’t have a couple down years. Saban built bama into a dynasty. That still has something to do with it. They and Georgia have set a standard for winning beyond just getting paid. We made the playoffs, and if we can regularly make them it takes notice. We were left for dead guys. Have opinions and talk it out. I get emotional about losing too. But when Heupel got here we may as well have been SMU in the 80s. We’ve beaten Florida twice. Hopefully we take one in the swamp this year. We’ve beaten bama, twice. Georgia is disappointing I agree. But making our first playoff last year. He did it in 5 years. And we were a legit threat hendons year, and in the new format we probably made our 3rd playoff in a row. This is crazy. First step of the turn around is complete. Now he’s got to keep the talent influx and start figuring out how to evolve the game plans.
