He was upset at our staff using him as the closer his last year at UT. I fully believe they were putting him in the best position for him and the team and would have put him back at starter last year. But I don’t think he trusted our staff to do it. By putting doubt in MLB’s teams’ minds about whether he could start would diminish his pro value. Good for Tony for making a decision for the program.

CTV made the best decision for the team and Chase made the best decision for his career. There were no guarantees that Burns would start here last season and he knew that a reliever would never be drafted in top 5 picks. Both individuals made the right decisions .. kudos to Burns for not taking a pop shot at the Vols...

What's the point of the tournament if almost all teams are in? I prefer a more 'elite group' keeping the regular season's importance.

No one higher than an 8 seed has ever won the tournament. If anything except more games = more money mattered they would cut the tournament in half.
