He had all the time in the world for the final out in the inning. He throws before the first baseman was on the base or even looking at him. And throws wide, at his feet. It was a mental error that cost multiple runs, the lead, and the momentum. He's lucky it didn't cost the game.

Reading up on the Adidas talks. I have a few quick thoughts.

1) 200 mill over 10 years is big money but this has potential to be much bigger over time... The Vols as the face of the Adidas collage sports market could be huge.

Marketing- The Vols are seen as renegades. We are the badasses who killed the NCAA and opened up all the streams for money to flow. The establishment hates us and blames us... you can't buy that level of cool.

Embrace the black uniforms. Other fan basses across the country say they look great. They fit our persona. They will market better than any in all of sports.

2) Recruiting should be ran as a separate department from coaching. Today's recruiting is Finance/Psychology based while coaching is mostly Strategy/Teaching. There is overlap but they are not the same. Each department head is responsible for their outcomes.

He only deserves the bench defensively. Curley is a great player, and there’s a reason why he was on the USA team. Sometimes guys just get the yips.

im not going to lie- that 5th inning had some bvs flare up. i said some choice words and my mood dropped. but these guys held on to play another day. Have to clean up the dumb errors and defense. survive and advance.

Bad teams don’t win 40+ games and sit on the brink of hosting a regional.

Not a bad team at all. Also not an elite team. A solid top 20 team in the country.
