Good grief.

That 1st base umpire needs a butt kicking for starting that mess. It totally threw off what momentum we had. That's devastating for a team struggling to win a series. Youb add in a fielding error and you get 6-2 hogs and a 30 minute inning.

Way to rub it in during the interview, SEC Network.

That’s what happens when a team that isn’t elite gets into the meat of the SEC schedule. Fine margins decide wins or losses. Vol fans not used to that bc we used to mash our way to Ws.

They’re good, not elite. Anyone who thinks they’re not good only watches UT baseball and no other college games ever.

They are good.... And they're not. 40+ wins, going to play in the post season. Big picture, not the end of the world.

I just really hate HOW this team continues to find losses. Everything is just a little off, pitching, defense, offense... And yet still good enough to compete with almost anyone.

But not good enough to overcome the consistency at which we make, what winds up being, game changing mistakes.

Just one of those years. Who knows.. Maybe going on the road in the post season and playing out of conf will be a nice change of pace. We've seen Ole miss and Florida go on runs in there post season recently after lack luster regular seasons...🤷‍♂️

Been seeing a lot of big spotted bass around the dock too and caught a 3 pounder this morning. Water is murky from all the rain and activity on the lake is nuts today.
