I had to kick the habits of my parents, unfortunately after I'd already made unwise financial decisions. Thankfully, I still did it pretty early and paid off my truck several years early. Bought a used car cash for my wife when she needed an upgrade. Sold the boat even though it was paid off.

I have no interest in flaunting. I know if I'm patient and keep working my butt off we will get where we want to be.

i'm incredibly well off.

parents left me nothing. paid grad loans off (what wasn't covered by scholarship), and walked to two jobs daily (one got a ride from Mi Ma). yes, three jobs.

my point, both cars have 130+ and i'm married to a philanthropist. i do own 1 rich leather bound book that smells mahogany and have a pleather sofa/

I will say this... At this point in the season...I just don't trust this team to make plays that will accumulate to a win. Tons of talent. And at times this team has been elite. But more times than not in conf play, we find ways to lose.

Exactly. Some of the errors he's had have just been on tough plays in general. Plays like that....

Having no debt is such an incredible feeling. I could never go back to having debt now that I've experienced life without it (having also made some unwise decisions early).

Topwater popper before work one morning. No activity until deciding to make one last cast and it nailed it about 15 feet from the dock. It was probably between 5-6 pounds. Been seeing a lot of big spotted bass around the dock too and caught a 3 pounder this morning. Water is murky from all the rain and activity on the lake is nuts today.
