Traditionally we've had depth to pitch put of it. Not easy to replace what we lost.

Truth is last two NC's had worse seasons year after the Nat than we have.

Good point and Tony has really spoiled us. This team is just really bad in terms of fundamentals. They are really easy to manufacture runs against. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a team this bad at holding runners on base. Still have a good chance to host a regional which isn’t all bad. They just came out of the gate on fire and expectations went sky high. SEC teams are really good at figuring out your weaknesses and this team doesn’t seem to be able to adjust. Still love Tony and will ride with them till the end.

They’re 39-11 (15-10). That’s still really damn good.

I get it but the record, without me looking, has to be mule doodoo over the last 15-20 games.

Roughly .500 over the last 20 games.

Which makes sense bc this team isn’t the 2024 version and we’re in the meat of the SEC schedule.

We were spoiled with C last year. He was a weapon.

Knew we'd take a step back but never knew we'd take THIS kind of step back. We gotta get a catcher next year.

Idk what seed they end up with but it’s a team that can beat anyone and/or lose to almost anyone. Lots of variability. But that’s the beauty of college sports!

That is correct. I think folks saw the early success coming off a NC and expected it was gonna be easy.

Fridays are almost an automatic win but Sat and Sun are batting practice for the other teams

A&M, who beat TN 2/3, swept Carolina, beat ARK 2/3, beat LSU 2/3, won 4 midweek games in there, just lost the series to Mizzou who was previously winless in the conference.

They did get swept by TX in the middle of all that but it shows you the high degree of variability in this sport.
