Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Talking about the home he found in knoxville. . . and his responsibility to the coaches and community. . .

Be curious to see if he goes back to Cali or stays in TN to take advantage of the VFL program. Heaven knows he has put his body on the line and earned every bit of it. Either way he has a fan in me and I will be pulling for him.

Please give us new Recruiting news to end all these GOAT conversations:

Basketball: MJ
Baseball: Walter Johnson
Football: ...uggg, Tom Brady
Soccer: Christiano Renaldo
Golf: Tiger Woods
Broomball: Jean-Noel Gilbert

Don't come at me bro.
Wouldn’t most consider Ronaldo the LeBron of soccer?

Las Vegas…aka lil KnoxVegas
Oh...ok. I never heard Las Vegas called lil KnoxVegas. 🤣

I went to Las Vegas in 98, when I was 23, to watch the US Open of Supercross at the MGM Grand. We hit ever casino, walked Freemont Street, rode the Big Apple roller coaster at the New York, New York casino, did the Big Shot on top of the Strasophere, took the Hoover Dam tour, and we rode over to Anaheim/LA for a couple of days to go to Universal Studios and Santa Monica pier/ beach. We were also the week the Bellagio opened and was up in the Stratosphere when they turned on the fountains for the 1st time (very cool). I didn't gamble much but I did play the slot machines at the Flamingo and some 21 at Caesar's Palace. One of the funnest things we did was the day we went to BINGO with my buddy's grandparents. We were the youngest in there by 50 years but it was a blast. I had a magic marker and 9 BINGO cards. They call the numbers fast and it was tough to mark them all. There were people sitting around us with 20 cards laying out and still able to help me find my numbers. I was so nervous, I was bumming Virginia Slims off the woman sitting at our table. It was awesome.

Vegas was great. That's been one of my favorite vacations ever. Have fun.
