Recruiting Football Talk VIII

That bear can really shred.

Thought of you earlier today - was listening to Hair Nation and they played a Guns track. DJ came back on and said “that was the last original song, recorded by the original lineup”

Name that tune…

(He then teased that there may be new music coming from the classic lineup. They gonna let Adler back in the band? Where’s Izzy?)
Blind guess……I’m saying my 2nd favorite all time song ….. Rocket Queen

Happy Monday

April 28, 2025: Times are changing and what you have been worried about will come to a conclusion. But, you must deliberately let go of the things that have kept you bound and unable to progress. Reevaluate where you are and where you want to be in life and take the next step in achieving that goal. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

They should be man enough to say that instead of making up nonsense about Shedeur.
I kinda do feel bad for the kids, they are going to wake up one day and realize they were nothing more than a publicity stunt that their dad use to maintain his relevance. Deion has burned a lot of bridges, there's not a whole lot of places to go anymore.

Cleveland did a massive disservice to Dillon Gabriel. No wonder they are such a pathetic franchise. Really feel sorry for him as they are literally sabotaging a player they just picked. Epic level of incompetence.

The Cleveland Browns are the worst franchise in the history of professional sports. Most people believe that the "Mistake on the Lake" was the name of their old stadium, but it is actually referring to the actual franchise. Well I guess it is apropos that the "Sh!tty City" have them.

I come on and read for five minutes and I'm already disgusted by this fanbase.

We don't deserve good things to happen...we finally after 15-years of pureed 💩 HCs get a good coach that almost instantly and miraculously makes us relevant again...and ALL the scumbags do is piss and moan and hate on the guy.

Heupel doesn't suck...YOU ALL SUCK. I have said fir years that worst fans in sports are Idiot Margin Tennessee fans...I'm just not sure they are the "margin" anymore.

For you awesome Tennessee Vols for Life with a modicum of common sense gratitude and appreciation...I salute you, you are the best fanbase in spor🤝👏🤜🤛✊👌

The rest of you can kiss my old grumpy butt..🖕
Ain't that the truth. The margin is very blurry right now. Never before has so much been spoken by those who know so little.

It sucks that both Tillman and Sampson ended up there.

I mean, that’s exactly what I’m talking about. Obviously Heup couldn’t sell an impending retirement, but I don’t see any reason why he couldn’t have sold a financial push to get the team over the hump, considering they were in basically the same spot as Rick’s club. No offense to Josh; I just think Rick is better at that kind of thing.

But that completely annihilates the theory that there was no money to be had, December through April. (And again, none of us really know if money is even the problem regarding portal recruiting.)
Regardless of money, people are overlooking a small insignificant fact. There is no one worth a sh!t in the portal to get. Some of you talk like there is unlimited elite talent available and that Tennessee is too cheap and Heup is to lazy to go get it. Basketball is on a completely different timeline, now is the time the hay is made in basketball. In football, now is the time to make due.
