Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Most recent players to have success in NFL on offensive side of the ball are:

Jennings
Josh Palmer( has had a good career)
Alvin Kamara
Josh Dobbs due to longevity

Guess who was Head Coach when those individuals were at Tennessee...😳

Telling you. Heup does a lot with less, but he also has to get better at recruiting without Spyre doing the lifting.

I have heard the same thing as well. His knock at UFC was recruiting but we have been able to overcome some of that from having one of the best collectives.

I think this a contract year for Pope…but you wouldn’t know it based on the offseason.

Look, I love Dobbs, but getting moved from team to team and used as a last ditch option is not how I would judge success in the NFL.

Bray had similar longevity just never played.

Dobbs is good enough to play for anyone in an emergency. I can't think of another QB that's had a career like his. If the NFL were more comfortable with improvisation from QBs he might've found a place but it's just not and that's his best feature.
