Recruiting Football Talk VIII

They fired their entire WR room, went and got Davis Anders. Plugged in a Samoan, and a Catholic. I mean, I'm the biggest critic of our recruiting in the continental US.

You're the leader of the team, a millionaire eating steak, driving a Mercedes SUV. Your brethren are eating Sam and Andys. Plug up your mangina, and get to work.

And take off those pajama pants...
Not a thing in the world wrong with Sam and Andy's.

I was going to let this one go, but I cannot. How about that none of us know what tf happened in December and to judge Heupel based upon a vibe is ridiculous.
It was genuine curiosity, wasnt really pointing fingers; and ur right, we dont know for sure what was going in in December, my statement was just personal opinion

Somebody better get a handle on this NLI money, or it’s gonna get so much worse.

I recently heard Jope Pate say that Congress is ready to get involved.
I hate to see government sink their slimy meat hooks into anything, but it is apparent that the governing bodies of college athletics won't take the initiative to get a handle on this situation.

I mean Stayley has butter fingers, MM is still unproven. What are we going to do for 4 wideout sets as well, and wb when someone inevitably gets hurt

You’ve seen Staley in a lot of practices?

Unproven does not mean bad.

I hear you on the depth. So what do you want? A guy that will push either MM or Staley to the portal or a depth piece from the portal that doesn’t exist?

Why would the government need to be involved?

I've got a good friend couple of 30+ years who I worked with in the 80's and 90's and now we attend the same church. His wife has been battling cancer for the last 14 months and he has served as her primary caregiver. She was finally strong enough to come to Easter service Sunday morning. I found out this morning that he suffered a heart attack Monday morning and passed away. He loved hunting, fishing and everything Vols. My wife and I are floored by the news and would appreciate all prayers for his wife and two daughters.

Prayers for your friend’s wife and girls! May the Lord’s grace and mercy abound to them during this terribly difficult time.
