And if you're Heupel, and your QB goes to Lincoln Riley (the guy that got hired when you got fired at OU) and USC has got to burn him up.

Notre Dame doesn't seem feasible to me.

But, who knows in this case!

It’s okay to be wrong about Nico. We were all wrong. We wanted him to be better than Hendon and it’s just not in him. Nico was great at flag football, but your actual abilities show when the bullets are flying. He just doesn’t have the ‘it’ factor like we all hoped for.

I would think at this point, they’ve seen more than any of us in the locker room and practice than of us on Nico and his leadership and performance skills. The coming days will tell us if they ride with him do or die.

I didn't realize that I was flaming him. I was simply stating my opinion on the situation.
I believe that if Nico had wanted to put a stop to this, he could have.
That is my opinion.

This is where I’m at. Sure he’s still young and has yet to truly experience the world, but he’s also been making a crap ton of money and is the starting QB for a SEC playoff team. We don’t owe him our sympathy, he lost that the second he didn’t show up to practice and walked out on his teammates.

I will predict that if Merk plays all season he will have more than Nico last year. Nico has talent but he is the most overhyped quarterback in Tennessee history. Hard to imagine he goes to a team with only fall camp and does great things. He was year two in Heupel’s offense and couldn’t run it.

No one can be wrong or right on Nico yet. He played well for a freshman. Of course Nico wasn’t gonna be as good as senior Hendon Hooker. Good grief. I think all this drama stuff could really hamper him but it wouldn’t surprise me one bit if he is a heisman candidate wherever he plays. His potential is through the roof and I’m gonna pretend it isn’t just because he has morons around him or in his family. lol
