Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Maybe but I find it hard to believe it’s a drastic difference either way.
I've just watched them all. UCLA, better coach, more talent, good big man.

Utah St is elite elite offensively and are only a 10 seed, because they hate the MTN West. Like, Colorado St is a 12, but they're favored by Vegas against Memphis.

Efficiency ratings.

TX last year:

Offense 31
Defense 30

Utah St:

Offense 17
Defense 149

UCLA:

Offense 35
Defense 17
UCLA is a "Jekyll&Hyde" team. I watched them beat Michigan State at home and then watched them get destroyed in Big Ten Tournament by Maryland. One thing though, Mick Cronin loves defense it should be a battle. That's if UCLA beats Utah State...

Deion Sanders proposed the idea of teams practicing a couple of practices during the spring against someone else and then playing that team in some form for a spring game.

If that were to ever come true, who would you all like to see UT scrimmage? I would think many schools would stick to a FCS team.

Assuming that’s Ziegler’s brother and we have mutual interest ?
I’m assuming, not sure why he would say it randomly and there not be interest.

I find interesting, he doesn’t seem to have many games against quality competition so it’s hard to gauge how good he can be in this conference. I do wonder if that may be good news for RB coaching another season, no offense to the kid but I’m not sure many top schools would take him….I could be wrong though.

I would prefer us drop fcs games, replace with g of 5 team, and scrimmage an instate fcs program, maybe have combined practices a few times as well. Would make spring seem more entertaining

I think the biggest upset I’ve picked round 1 is A&M vs Yale.

Yale makes opponents shoot behind the arc on 50% of their attempts and A&M is the worst shooting team in the SEC.
