I disagree. What would be necessary would be to turn the tide at decisive moments. And even better to prepare the ground for it earlier. Plausible deniability is preferred to desperation.There's a difference between a badly officiating game impacting us and "the fix is in"
I'm not disputing anything you're saying, but a proper fix is a completely lopsided whistle which against Florida I didn't really feel like we got. I think both teams got called for a lot of fouls and just as many that were missed. It benefited them because they're a lot deeper than us.
It was a good SECT for us though, the amount of foul calls should give us some stuff to work on so we can try and avoid having the same issue in the big tournament.
The kind of thing you describe — from beginning to end — would amount to clumsy desperation, which might happen. But meaningless “balancing calls” in “clean up time” are well observed.
I’m not taking a position on that game being fixed in saying this.
