Big win for the base Vols. I think the question of who is the best baseball team in the nation has been answered. Didn’t get a chance to watch either game. Hated losing to UF on the basketball court but not that big of a deal. We may get a better matchup and region as a #2 seed.

St John's and Michigan State will get Florida or Auburn.
Vols and Bama will get Houston or Duke.

Honestly I feel like we'd fare better against Duke. Houston can hit outside shots better and is more athletic.

I agree the officiating was awful, but they also called some on Florida that could be debated too. I don’t think the fix was in, we have to play at a top level to beat Florida in every aspect & we simply didn’t.

We didn’t hit enough 3s & we didn’t rebound well enough (especially our bigs).

Now the tight whistle, definitely played a part in some of that especially rebounding.

The game we beat them, we held them under 25% FG & 15% 3PT and out rebounded them, that didn’t happen today.

Not a “fix” imo, a tight whistle from an inconsistent SEC crew & it impacted both teams.

Impacted us more because we play more physically, so tight whistles hurt us more. But I agree with all this. Can't get out rebounded by that kind of margin. There were a ton of missed shots where multiple Florida players weren't boxed out.

Our numbers are so much better than St. John’s. There isn’t any way they are the top 2 seed.

Only a few teams have 30 wins this season…I think we should be the top 2 seed, but St. John’s is the only potential team imo that could be ahead of us.

I think we matchup better with Houston. If Flagg is healthy I don't think we have an answer for him inside. Houston's bigs don't scare me and I'd take our guards against anyone if we can control the paint.

Well I just saw ESPNs projections and it has us in Dukes region facing #25 Robert Morris then the winder of VCU/Gonzaga. Don’t think either of those teams are equivalent to an OSU level football team

I'd be surprised if he'll be anywhere near 100% during the tournament with how bad he rolled that ankle. Prob would still be best player on the court with it at 70% tho lol
