Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Admittedly I don't know the rule, but I thought all of ball and body had to cross the line before over and back rules went into effect?
It is closer than I first thought. All 3 have to be across- both feet and ball.

But the player had both feet in the front court and had possession of the ball. I don’t think that still shot gets the whole thing. Pretty sure all 3 were across.

If the ball and body crossed, it's definitely a violation. I didn't watch the replay.

I took 2 pictures of my TV. I didn't pause it between pics and wish I would have now. I'm pretty sure he had the ball in the front court before Igor bumped him back into the back court. That's what I saw in "real game time".

I didn't record the game so if @jave36 wants to be a nitpicker, then he can do his own homework

Just saw this........Rick Pitino has taken 6 different teams to the NCAA tourney.

Say what ya want.........dude can flat out coach.
I think his team might be why it was a blessing in disguise to not be the last one seed. I think St. John’s will be the 2 seed in that region we would have been a 1. Not sure I want to play them, although I’m not scared of any team in the tourney. Florida is just a nightmare matchup for us.

We will know in the first 4-5 minutes if the fix is in.

If it is...they will not let us play our defense...they will call every little ticky-tack po💩 foul and we will get run.
Told y'all...

All that.."Florida looked fresher".."Florida is just a nightmare matchup" stuff is nothing but a pile of horse💩

They did not let us play our defense from the very beginning, and that is what our team is built on....we were never winning this game unless we just had one of those games where we hit everything we throw up because we were not going to win it playing tough defense.

The fix was in...period.

No team can win when you take away their greatest strength.

So you're mad they didn't call a foul on Igor?

SEC refs are bad. Really bad. Bilas was dumbfounded the whole tournament.

I agree the officiating was awful, but they also called some on Florida that could be debated too. I don’t think the fix was in, we have to play at a top level to beat Florida in every aspect & we simply didn’t.

We didn’t hit enough 3s & we didn’t rebound well enough (especially our bigs).

Now the tight whistle, definitely played a part in some of that especially rebounding.

The game we beat them, we held them under 25% FG & 15% 3PT and out rebounded them, that didn’t happen today.

Not a “fix” imo, a tight whistle from an inconsistent SEC crew & it impacted both teams.

I don’t think this is possible based on bracket rules. The top 4 teams in each conference (if they are on top 4 seed lines) have to be placed in different regions.
I think I read this somewhere too.
That means that the 2 seeds Tennessee and Alabama must be placed in the one seeds Houston and Duke’s brackets.
I’m hoping they put Houston and Tennessee in the Indianapolis bracket.
Also hoping the Vols get put in Lexington for the first two rounds.
