Anyone who watched that game knows the sand part wasn't a rumor. I watched Baywatch once and there was less sand on my TV screen than what I saw watching that game.
I'm just going to play devils advocate for a moment. Topping playing surfaces with sand is a common practice that anyone who manages athletic fields does on a routine basis. Also something that needs to be done multiple times over the course of a season. I don't want to use that as an excuse.

If someone didnt anticipate the Stadium that plays a chicken noise during a TD, located adjacent to State Fair to not be up to spec.

Then the person in charge of shoe gear needs to be sacked.

Thoughts?

Inevitably I think this is the best thing for all sports and I hope I'm not wrong. Let the NCAA govern the other sports, especially the Olympic sports, and return to common sense conference alignments. Let football be independent and in a system where they can generate even more income to fuel the athletic departments and hekp fund other sports. Let football be in a governing body that can enforce common sense rules on participation, pay, and transfers in a way that NCAA legally can't.

That too. We have the finest equipment and facilities in the world. Telling me we didn't have multiple sets of spikes and/or cleats to make an adjustment after walkthrough?

Seems to be the only way out of the corn maze at this point. NCAA gets vote of zero confidence.

Happy Choose Day. Choose peace.

February 25, 2025: You are in process of simplifying your life. It will be a process that you will not regret because you will be less scattered and better able to focus on what is relevant for you now. Even though you may dread the process, the end will justify the means. Keep pressing on. Philippians 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

From a financial standpoint taking the FB revenue out of a a one body model would be problematic.

On the other hand, separating them and taking the headcount out would really impact Title IX.

These among other reasons I BELIEVE will result in a bipartisan Congressional intervention into providing clarity that minimizes the courts discretion to change things continually. More Reps constituents are linked to the lower end D1 programs and D2 and D3. They can be supportive of A UT, but live among the ETSU, TTU, and Memphis centered voters. Trickle down NCAA money is a real thing. Within every individual program, and from revenue generating programs to the others.

Could be as simple as providing the freedom of the NCAA to maintain the BASIC amateur model or turning revenue in ANY pay for play divisions into taxable income like the NFL and NBA feeders like G League, MLB minors, and the XFL. Lots of alternative methods to minimize judicial flexibility.

Everybody knows it is currently BROKE. Solution path TBD. Somebody will want to be a hero.
