The best WR (and it’s not close) to ever play want that fast. As a matter of fact he ran a 4.6 40.Those are all great possession receivers. You can be a star WR in the NFL and not be a game breaker. With that said, the best of the best wide receivers tend to have elite explosiveness.
It's why the 3 best WRs of the last 25 years are universally recognized as Randy Moss, Terrell Owens, and Calvin Johnson. All 3 were tall, fast, and could jump. Having every trait be elite makes you legendary. You can't be the best and not have elite speed.
And the standard people are holding Jeremiah Smith to isn't just that he'll be a good WR in the NFL. But people are calling him generational and in the category with some of the best we've ever seen. Well those guys tend to be very fast. They're just not elite in one category but in every category.
Okay, then for clarification are you saying Ryan Williams will be a HOFer?Marvin Harrison Jr. is not gonna be a first ballot Hall of Famer. If your argument is Jeremiah Smith will be a good #1 option in the NFL, I'd agree with you. My comparison for him is Dez Bryant who was a really good #1 WR for the Cowboys. However, nobody is confusing Dez Bryant with Moss, T.O., or Calvin Johnson. People are talking about Jeremiah Smith as if he's in that mold. That's all I'm pushing back against.
I think Jeremiah Smith will be a very good NFL WR. I just don't see a generational talent because of his lack of elite explosiveness. And I would say the same for Marvin Harrison Jr not matter how good a rookie year he had.
Photo of the “dinner party.”I bet Lasorda was a hoot. Remember that Manny Mota was 1st base coach and still was on active roster and Pinch hit at crucial times late in the game... Never will see that again.. welch and Steve Howe on same club a never ending party...
That's cool as hell....Photo of the “dinner party.”

People are so stupid, man. This moran could’ve just waited to see not a damn thing happened to Doyle.
Also I used to tolerate Wes more than most. Turns out he’s also a dummy. Thinks he knows more than he does.
