Trust him, he knows a guy…you know how this works. We have to go with the most negative scenario possible. Some people love worrying and being miserable. How do you know several QB’s turned us down due to WR & OL issues? Did the media specifically report that any QB’s said that anywhere? Nico’s party claimed that but ended up at a place where the players are lower rated in those groups than our guys. Obviously that backfired on them, IMO.
I think the past two seasons the offense has been lackluster. Plenty of blame to go around. QB play, OL play, WR play, and, yes, even coaching. It's no one person's fault. My point is there is a lot of mud slinging at Heupels offense. The WR's and OL has been called out for being substandard and are the reasons for the lack of big plays. That somehow, Heupel's offense failed Nico. That's all BS.
The WRs dropped plenty of passes as well. Nico may be a douche, and he made plenty of mistakes himself, but the failures were on multiple levels at multiple positions. Thankfully, we had a great running game.True, it was usually on his feet for running out of bounds or his arm for overthrowing the ball.
25 games into the season, I'm not sweating it rite now. Dodgers going get everyone's best shot, they are the evil empire now.Yeah, that sucked. Don't know what's up with those guys, it's like they're so disconnected, and you gotta be on your game against the Cubs. Both games were winnable.
But hats off to the Cubs, they're rolling. That's a hot offense.
An App State fan on YouTube explained the situation very simply. In 2023 the team was good and he got thrust into the starting role after their QB got injured in preseason. He didn't have to carry the team. Also doesn't help that Boone was literally under water during a lot of the football season. How people forget massive tragedies so quickly is honestly disheartening
