An Announcement from Nicksjuzunk:
For the past several weeks, I have been contemplating what I have given to the Recruiting Forum Pregame/Game Threads for all of these years. As I reflected, and I am no dummy, I know that my performance has declined in recent years. I've lost a step... maybe two... especially since I have moved from Thailand and have reintegrated into society. What was once born of passion and love had become more obligation and drudgery as I went from sifting through piles of statistics and analysis to more general keys to victory that felt more or less the same, week after week. I had to ask myself, "Have I given MY ALL, and there is nothing left to give?" Perhaps it was time to hang up my fingers and let the next generation of dream architects take up the task of offering up completely biased, unbiased game analysis each week.
Having given this much hard thought and after discussing this with my wife, I have decided that I will continue in my role as thread starter for football games this season. This was not an easy decision for me to come to. It is tough to accept decline and age and the inevitable slide into mediocrity as father time beats down upon me day after day. I am not the man that I once was, but I hope to still have something to offer to the forum. How can I, after so many years away from Knoxville, have returned, only to abandon our community in their time of need? My fear is that my performance may degrade too much over time that I can't see the writing on the wall and that Freak will disable my account out of disgust. The love of the game can keep you in the game too long, and what was once beloved becomes tolerated, and even despised at worst. Although "my all" is not as much as it once was, I will once again give my all to the recruiting forum again this season. Trot me out... let's go.
I played football. I think it can be a safe sport if trained properly, but definitely not as safe as the others. Still, I wish I had played baseball, I was probably built more as a baseball player.Even though I love football, I will push baseball and basketball for my grandson to play. The game isn't worth losing your life over.
That's the most important button on the app. . . and knowing when to push it.I’ll add another because he’s pissed about the cash out button not being pressed on these tickets@mrMet
And if you're a Colquitt, our lone weapon in those dark dark days.I played football. I think it can be a safe sport if trained properly, but definitely not as safe as the others. Still, I wish I had played baseball, I was probably built more as a baseball player.
If I were to send them off to football camp, it would be as a punter,. What a dream job. Get to be on the team and be an important part of it, not a huge risk of injury, may lead to a scholly & natty, and if you make it as a pro punter

Dadgum! This post is exciting. This is the @Ulysees E. McGill equivalent ofWhy?...I see NC State as a team like Pitt in 21-22..
It would be a sign that we aren't giving to rip through the schedule...I guess you could call that bad if you expect to bulldoze everybody not named UGA or Bama...
I expect we will have several struggles this year..and I think we will be a good team.
Wasn’t just luck…. I was successful every year… that was probably my best year. The number one factor in being a sports gambler is to not be an emotional gambler.sounds good, nice job.
getting lucky.
Cool.Wasn’t just luck…. I was successful every year… that was probably my best year. The number one factor in being a sports gambler is to not be an emotional gambler.
1. I gambled overseas so it was tax free money that I won.
2. I was horrible at betting on NBA, Hockey, Baseball
3. I was very strong at some college football, NFL, and non-conference college basketball
4. I played parlays…. never more than two teams…. sometimes it would be one against the spread and one money line at +800… this would add a little bit of money to your winnings and eliminate the 10% that you would owe if you bet individually.
5. My theory was that Vegas was really good in big money college games but weren’t as solid in smaller games. I mainly stayed in that area. I especially loved teams that were awful the year before but added a difference maker. One year I bet Indiana -7 over Louisville.. They added Antwan Randel-el and won by 50+. That team won me so much money before Vegas caught up.
6. I quit bc I had kids and it was taking time from spending time with them.
Yea that’s what I was referring to…I’m still waiting on @TrippieRedd lecture like you gave me so I’m not alone on the matter anymoreand point the finger I might add

This post has me all aboutI wish we would finally have a season where we start out on absolute fire. . . so much so that people are saying "I know it's only 3 games, but Tennessee may be the best in the country" and by season's end "Tennessee is one of the greatest teams of all-time!".
I think we'll get close to that in one of the next 2 seasons. . . or at least one of the best Tennessee teams of all-time.
Weird thing for me is that I'm probably most successful betting soccer. I don't even watch or really like soccer. Dortmund has probably made me the most money.Wasn’t just luck…. Yeah the same networks every conference plays on. Unlike CBS and NBC which have exclusively BIG games. Then Fox will focus more on BIG games rather than BigXII games. So yes Sankey got played like the little off tuned instrument he isIf by ABC you mean ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and SEC Network then you are right.

@Jackcrevol
Narduzzi is one of the best coaches at defending Heup’s system. Heup’s offense ran for 240 yds the first time he played them at UCF… the next 3 years…. Heup has struggled to run the football. The RBs at Tennessee averaged less than 3 ypc. NC State won’t be that successful…. WGWTFA!!!!Why?...I see NC State as a team like Pitt in 21-22..

Driving is pretty much a required part of functional life. Hobbies aren't.If you take concussions into account, then Soccer is the most dangerous. The media narrative skews reality. The MOST dangerous thing you can let them do is DRiVE, but no one clutches pearls over that.
