He struggled tonight and at UF. But he scored 21 against OU, 19 at home against UF, 15 at home against UK, 23 against MSU, 17 at Vandy, 29 against Arky, 17 at Illinois, 25 against Baylor, 26 against UVA, 19 at Louisville.

He was a 4 year mid major player who is in the top 5 in scoring in the toughest conference (maybe ever). He’s not DK, but without him, we wouldn’t be nearly as good. We have to ride with him.

I know we have to ride with him but imo he is a disappointment.

It’s hard to call him a disappointment when he’s top 5 in scoring. He’s done what he was brought here to do. Would I like for him not to go 0-7 from 3 at Rupp? Sure. But without him, we wouldn’t be nearly as good. He’s played well in some high level games for us. He’s never played week in and week out in a conference like this. If he were a sure fire NBA player, he wouldn’t be playing his 5th year.

Good grief nobody is saying that. But we got swept by a first year head coach. Most of us laughed when UK hired Pope. We laughed when they got smoked by UGA. We laughed when they lost to Vandy. And now they sweep us.

There is no way to sugar coat it. This series against UK was pathetic. We are still a very good team. But you make it sound like we lost to a powerhouse on the road. We didn’t. Oh and why is it other teams can win on the road in the SEC but we can’t?

I swear some of you go to extremes when others get upset.

A long season in America’s toughest conference. Hopefully, we can go 4-2 in last 6 and finish 11-7. NCAA tourney will be much easier than regular season. We will need Gainey, ZZ, Lanier and Igor to hit 3’s. We are a good team and can beat anyone, but if we have off night shooting then we can be beat by anyone just like any of the other top 10-15 teams in the country.

Why did we come into the season with only 11 scholarship players? The limit is 15, why didnt we use all the scholarships? That’s why I hate the “depth” excuse when we have games like last night. The staff should have known we wouldnt make it through the season without injuries, yet we didn’t sign enough players

i'm not sure they knew we'd lose s SG mid season. Cant fault Rick for liking his transfer lineup. If there is any criticism its that high school recruiting should be better, period. Going transfer heavy is just too much of a gamble, imo.

We have to get better on the trail, and while we have a couple good pieces coming in necks year. I dont see another #30 class getting us to title game. Think HS has to be your base, like 3-4 starters. Then, IF there's a guy out there that's a game changer, you go get him.

Anyway, i'm not sure depth could stop dude from hitting those threes. Same for Missouri game. Think difference is our offense, we have NO ONE that can create their own offense. And Kentucky does.
