Seeding doesnt matter. 15 or 16 seed would make it interesting with the style we play. At some point there would be ab a 9 min drought where we score like 3 points.
its the same stuff over and over for years.
That’s not who he was, and we knew that. At North Florida last year, 241 of his 420 shots were three-pointers. That’s 57% of his shots. He shot 44%, which is awesome. We knew we recruited a 3 point shooting specialist, who wasn’t nearly as good creating his own shot.Nobody expected DK. But I think most of us expected more than just a guy who can occasionally hit threes.
Agree with all of this. But it still sucks big time to get swept by UK with a first year head coach.Doesn’t matter what any of us foresee. The 1st goal of a regular season championship was already outta reach. The sec tourney really is meaningless seed wise so don’t care about it either. I know everyone wants a first final four or whatever but I’ll be happy with an EE. This team has had 3 head scratching losses. But it’s also had streaks of solid wins. Just gotta be hot when it matters.
His mid range game is weak. He has almost no explosiveness and rarely drives to the basket. Why? I get he is a 3 point shooter. But when those shots aren’t falling, he can’t do much of anything. That’s not who he was, and we knew that. At North Florida last year, 241 of his 420 shots were three-pointers. That’s 57% of his shots. He shot 44%, which is awesome. We knew we recruited a 3 point shooting specialist, who wasn’t nearly as good creating his own shot.
He struggled tonight and at UF. But he scored 21 against OU, 19 at home against UF, 15 at home against UK, 23 against MSU, 17 at Vandy, 29 against Arky, 17 at Illinois, 25 against Baylor, 26 against UVA, 19 at Louisville. And he ain’t getting it done on a consistent basis against the good competition.
