I recently have met a guy who is a bammercat....wild tide, tide cat, suckybama fan.

He went to UK, grandpa played for UK basketball, but dad went to Bama....so he roots for both.

Unfortunately he might be the nicest person I've ever met in my life....

I've followed Tennessee in football, baseball, and basketball most my life as has my family and its always been bammer in everything. Think its an age difference, younger vols feel like you say and older crowd feel more like I do. Doesn't make anyone more or less of a fan, just means we see things different.

So it doesn't matter to you if bammer wins a basketball game or baseball game as long as it's not against us? A bammer loss is almost as enjoyable as a Tennessee win. I just can't hate them less than anyone else in anything, but I'm almost 50. Us old folks just feel different.

I think it is partially an age difference. I, personally feel like Christian does but I respect the hell out of the distilled hatred older fans have for Bama specifically, no matter the sport.

My wife was a cheerleader. I didn’t know they don’t really recruit. You just go to a school and they hold open try outs. cheer teams that are good consistently like Kentucky are only good because people know they’re good so they go there just for a chance to try out for them. Kind of wild. You’d think they’d have scouting like anyone else.

Oh yeah, bammercats are real. Down here in GA I see a fair amount of house divided plates, ga/bama. The bandwagon is strong here too.

I do appreciate the thought, he was a good guy and had been suffering and in horrible horrible health for a really long while...I am thankful he isn't suffering anymore and has moved to a better place.

If it does were a #2 seed if UNC win ACC tourney.

Gainey is up and down. Think the team as a whole was just out of gas, and understandably so. Theyve played lights out. Hope they have it for NCAA.

Looks like we’ll be the 1st # 2 seed unless we win the SECT and UNC/AZ get bounced early from theirs.

I’m perfectly fine with a # 2 seed (# 5 overall)

Ridiculous. Win your conference, finish 3/4 in Q4 games, have a diff schedule. Fall to a 2 based on biases.

The last 1 seed should be between UT and UNC, no if/ands/buts, I think UT should get it, but with unc beating puke at puke and their head to head win over us, I could see them putting unc in over us, which I wouldn’t hate, but would still be disappointed

He has willingly taken a backseat offensively and focused more on distributing the ball and defense solely for the team. But I agree, he needs to take more shots when he’s open though.

His role needs to be as our outlet guy…. when guys double DK or try to stop Aidoo…. Vescovi makes them pay with a three.
