And to add, just as FSU had an ugly win vs Lousiville, Bama almost lost to Auburn, and UGA struggled against Ga Tech within the last week.Idc who is better right now. That’s basically saying the rest of the season doesn’t matter.
You work your ass off all season for a full schedule, not the last game. FSU deserves to be rewarded for going undefeated.
FSU had an ugly win because of their 3rd string qb. I hate that they're a free win for Michigan (I'm assuming committee will pit them at 4), but hard to argue they don't deserve to be in. Personally I'd rather have a competitive playoff field, but I think it sets a bad precedent to leave them out, even knowing they're just going yo be Michigan's warmup game. And to add, just as FSU had an ugly win vs Lousiville, Bama almost lost to Auburn, and UGA struggled against Ga Tech within the last week.
I wasn’t arguing that FSU doesn’t deserve to be in. And yeah if FSU had their QB1 or QB2 that win margin would’ve been much more substantial. I’m saying people have clamored on the “ugly” win against Louisville as though Bama and UGA didn’t struggle the week before.FSU had an ugly win because of their 3rd string qb. I don’t see SMU getting one of those nods…tho it would be more deserved than LOUISVILLE. As for Liberty, I place them in the tragic unfair Mt. Rushmore with the Tulane team that went undefeated same season as us.Odds Liberty gets screwed out of a NY6 Bowl by committee ranking SMU higher , even though Liberty is undefeated...![]()
Right now? Yeah, but in a month? I’ll end with what would be the argument if Milroe blew out a knee yesterday kneeling for the last snap and Ty Simpson was up? Pretty strong that it doesn’t matter.I think Texas is a given. Bama or fsu is the only question remaining. FSU couldn't beat anyone in the top 10 right now, and I'm worried the committee will prioritize that.
