Recruiting Football Talk VII

Aka Joe Milton and death by 1000 screens.

What’s wild to me is nobody talked about how the screen passes were so ineffective this year.those same plays were gold under Hendon..the difference is joe Milton would turn to the intended receiver (starring) wait a couple of seconds then throw it allowing the defender to close in or bust up the screen..dude killed us on these plays.he had so much hesitation

We’ll see. The team value is $4.5 billion and Cuban’s net worth is $6.2 billion. So that family’s $3.5 billion gives them a big seat at the table but HIM the first refusal on getting tired of the team. Doubt it got done otherwise.
As I said previously, I would expect Cuban to continue to run basketball operations for quite some time. He has proved to be relatively skilled in doing so, and the newmajority owner (whose wealth dwarfs Mark Cuban’s) knows nothing of running a basketball operation. Nevertheless, should the majority owner choose at some future date to replace Cuban in his role of running basketball operations, she would be able to do so. That’s the advantage of majority ownership. From what I read, this deal appears to be the first step in bringing in-state casino operations to Texas in a major way. I would guess that Cuban may have some small stake in those ventures.

Why did Vescovi come back if he’s just not going to score? We are badddd staring to look like archaic basketball in offense. Do we even try and score?

We look lousy and overrated.
We're getting 'out-efforted'. Every team we play hears about effort and physicality from Tennessee. So it's a point to step it up against us.

What I don't understand is how we're not matching.

I can deal with getting beat.

But mercy.. Early on here we look disinterested and UNC has come to play.

As I said…we’ll see. My take hasn’t changed.
