How would you feel about a guy like Myreon Jones or Serrel Smith?

Myreon Jones would be alright. He’s the guy that’s a prep school guy that hasn’t been evaluated by rivals I don’t think but 247 has him as 4* with no composure score yet.

Not familiar with Smith.

Oh people will offer anything, Colorado State probably is promising 4 year starter 40mpg, my point is shouldn’t his people be smart enough though? Baylor can sell him that all day, doesn’t make it true, just seems pretty short sighted to me.

I can tell by his dad’s comments he’s looking for promises. If he’s dumb enough to believe the promises it’s on him.

Not sure the reasoning, but he’s a guy with not a huge offer list so was just an example that came to mind of someone we could potentially land.

It’s not fair but I’m leaning towards steering clear IYAM.

No I ageee with you, he has an offer from Memphis but won’t go there because they are gonna land another PG...clearly wants to be “the guy” which I don’t see working in Barnes system.

Akinjo would be nice, but if you miss on him and get a quality graduate transfer and then land a PG in the ‘19 class that still gives them a year to learn behind Bone.

James Banks just announced he is leaving Texas, someone asked me recently who I would want, this guy goes right to the top of my board.


Would have to sit out this season but would immediately step in and fill Alexander’s spot at the 5 with 2 years remaining. Tennessee recruited him out of high school and he’s from Georgia, could be one to watch, I hope.

What were his numbers?

All I’m going to say is that I will trust Barnes and this staff until they give me a reason not to.

So far they have been spot on with their talent evaluations.

Wasn't it rumored that 5* PG Ashton Hagans was looking to reclassify to the '18 class. He recently decommitted from Georgia and I know hes visited could be something to watch.

Romeo Langford? Seems more likely to be heading to Indiana or Kansas. Think they’ve been mentioned with EJ Montgomery too but also believe he’s headed elsewhere.
