If Grant was a better offensive rebounder I would argue that we don’t necessarily need him around the perimeter but since he isn’t much help with that I’d rather he take 2-3 threes a game and stretch the floor

Ok, I’m going to think this out...

Bone 15/turner5/darrington5/transfer-freshman 5
Bowden 15/turner15/
Schofield 15/pons 10/jj5
Grant20/Schofield 5/walker 5
Alexander 15/Walker 10/ Kent 5

I’m sure I forgot some people, so add them in and I’ll rework it.

jesus...

Yeah Rob Lewis just posted about the Samford pg and say he could be one to watch of all the names thrown out.

With GW playing the 4/5 idk that he’s the one that needs to stretch the floor...if he pulls people out who’s inside we are working it into, Kyle? Not a bad idea but I would like to see better action to help space the floor FOR GRANT, instead of using Grant to space the floor for Kyle.

Williams already has plenty of touches at the top of the key. Late in the season he took a step inside the arc and took a few 17s uncontested.

Evan Boudreaux was committed to Xavier, graduate transfer from Dartmouth with 2 years of eligibility remaining.

6’9” 220lb forward who averaged 17.6ppg 9.5rpg 37% from deep 77%ft in his 2 years at Dartmouth...going to be HIGHLY coveted.

Assuming we have 2 spots, and out of all of the possible scenarios.

What in your opinion is best case in regards to who we fill those spots with? Ideally who would you want?

If Barnes says we need a PG. I hope we get Akinjo. Him and Bone can share minutes while Turner moves to the 2.

Rob said he hears that Samford will block us from Coleman because we will be playing each other next year. It’s not final but that’s what he is hearing.

Since Coleman has transferred multiple times they can block him. Similar to Shaq Wiggins. Rob did say it’s early, but he thought there was a good chance Akinjo could visit.

Then we should block Samford from ever setting foot in the TBA again. Ass-hat move by them if he's leaving anyway.

Actually TN should get out of a game with Samford. That's a SOS killer.

One of Harris/Akinjo

And then it’s tough...a lot depends on what’s available...that grad transfer that was committed to Xavier would be a great get, also like the guy from Illinois, I think adding some post help could be a plus. But if you can get a quality freshman big, not many available this late, that would also be an option.

Didn’t think you could block grad transfers.

Because he’s a 2 time transfer apparently you can...if I was Tennessee and Coleman has told Tennessee he wants to come here no way I would schedule them ever again, bush league crap from them. Hell, agree to hold Coleman out of the game if they want, don’t see that being a determining factor in the outcome of that game.

My first choice is Harris. But only if he’s bought in like everybody this yr. If he has any hesitation about coming here or brings distractions with him, I would be more than happy with Akinjo.
