I think that I heard it on the radio today rather than having read it here... apparently (or at least it's been reported) Harris wants Barnes to promise him the starting PG spot if he were to sign with TN. If that's true... don't want. But Barnes wouldn't agree to that condition or lie and back out on a promise... so if that's true, Harris won't be attending TN.

That appears to be the case. Penny met with Harris yesterday, and it appears he isn't going to Memphis either. Harris wants to start right away. Sounds like Baylor is offering him that opportunity.

Supposedly Baylor is telling him he will get 30-35mpg, but that’s a load of crap, they have a graduate transfer all-conference PG with 2 years of eligibility waiting to play...not sure why Harris would buy that from Drew.

Which I don’t get, unless I’m missing something he isn’t going to be Baylor’s starting PG

In what universe does a 5-9 PG think he has that kind of clout in the recruiting game? What an idiot.

That sounds exactly like the hesitation or distraction that I worry about with Harris. But I believe we may be higher on his mind than the services

If you are talking about Tony Harris, he isn't Tyler's dad. Uncle or cousin, I believe.

Trey Porter just announced as a graduate transfer, I would kick the tires there...6’10” 220lbs averaged 23.6mpg 13.2ppg 6.2rpg 1.3bpg last year at Old Dominion. Again not a world beater, but he could give us 10-15 minutes a game at the 5 spot and wouldn’t be a huge drop off from Alexander to him.

Will add that it doesn’t change my opinion we may be higher on his mind. Tony has a lot of love for UT. And Victor and other VFLs have voiced their opinion that they believe in what Barnes is doing.

How does anyone know what Harris wants from Barnes? Has Harris or Barnes stated this or is this some reporter's opinion?
