Ok, I’m going to think this out...

Bone 15/turner5/darrington5/transfer-freshman 5
Bowden 15/turner15/
Schofield 15/pons 10/jj5
Grant20/Schofield 5/walker 5
Alexander 15/Walker 10/ Kent 5

I’m sure I forgot some people, so add them in and I’ll rework it.

So you really think we are going 13 deep huh? My post was a joke but apparently that’s really what you think, SMH.

On a related topic...what is the biggest weakness you see on next years team that you don’t think current personnel could improve much on?

If CRB and his staff cannot find a point guard in this recruiting season, I would save the one scholarship for the 2019 class and they would have three scholarships to give in 2019.

Once conference play started our rotations MPG...

Schofield-30
Williams-29
Bowden-29
Turner-25
Bone-23
Alexander-20
Daniel-20

Walker-10
Fulk-8
Johnson-6
Pons-6
Darrington-5

What I just heard pankratz say we need. A scorer from the wing who can get into the lane and to the rim.

On the surface I agree...but in house:

Bowden- he started driving it a bit more, can another off-season help him there?

Schofield- does he trim a little more weight to become quicker at the 3, guys have to press him now, can he get by them?

Pons & Johnson- both possess the length you ideally think of as a wing slasher, but neither has shown much except for elite athleticism...can either step up with a full off-season and being healthy?

To me I wonder if adding a graduate transfer that’s 6’10”+ and could give us 10-15mpg 6ppg 6rpg 1bpg wouldn’t be beneficial. We didn’t rebound well, both Grant and Kyle are below average rebounders for their position, that has to change.

Oh if you’re talking about fixing it before fall the. I agree. Get a grad transfer big. That and a HS pg is ideal given what’s available between now and fall.

If you’re asking what would most help us it’s a scorer like Jrich, Jordy Mac or what we were trying to get with Simons.

There’s not a wing who can fill it up left that we have a shot at. Might as well wait on that. No reason we shouldn’t sign an impact wing in 2019.

Looking over the stats and 2pt fg% stands out as what we are awful at, have to become more efficient at that.

We need a consistent rim driver that can get into the lane. Get more easy buckets at the rim and help spread the floor

And go ahead, roll your eyes......but more pick and roll instead of iso posts up and motion offense on the wings could help resolve some of that

The lane is too conjested imo. That's why williams must stretch the floor for us to improve

No eye roll here, I was one of the first saying we had to stop forcing things with GW down low, was low percentage stuff.

With GW playing the 4/5 idk that he’s the one that needs to stretch the floor...if he pulls people out who’s inside we are working it into, Kyle? Not a bad idea but I would like to see better action to help space the floor FOR GRANT, instead of using Grant to space the floor for Kyle.

Justin Coleman will be a highly coveted graduate transfer PG...ex-Bama player, went to Samford and had a great season, averaged 13.5ppg 6.6apg, 37% from deep.

I don’t see Tennessee going the grad transfer route at PG but when people sit back and say Darrington is who they want backing up Bone and that there aren’t better options this is why I say they’re crazy, having a guy like Coleman instead of Darrington makes this a better team.

So I was just using an example by naming Coleman, but that might be one worth paying attention to.
